HotPaws is a simple app that estimates if the ground is too hot or too cold to walk your dog outside and gives a visual and written indicator. Allows temperature to be shown in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. The app uses your location to get the local weather where you are and then does some estimations based on temperature, weather, and ground type. Please note, estimating ground temperature is by no means an exact science and thus actual ground temperatures can vary from what the app shows. The best way to determine if the ground is a safe temperature for your pet is for you to test the ground with your own skin to see if you can comfortably stand on it for at least 60 seconds.
